Medicine Wheel

Just under the rim of the lid of the box, there is a small detail on one of the side panels - a strip of cross-woven dyed quills in white, yellow, blue, and red. While in a straight line rather than a traditional circle, these colors represent the medicine wheel. The medicine wheel is a teaching tool that can relate information and represent many things - the four cardinal directions, the seasons, or the stages of life. In this case, the meaning of the wheel is to symbolize the four facets of life that one needs to live in harmony. These would be the spiritual, emotional, intellectual, and physical aspects of life. By balancing these views on the world around you, you can most efficiently process your surroundings and tasks.
